CONCEPT
This project involved the development of a new industrial facility for ITP Aero in Sestao, designed to support the company’s advanced manufacturing activities within the global aerospace industry.
ITP Aero is one of the world’s leading companies in the design, manufacturing and maintenance of aero-engine components and propulsion systems, with production and engineering centres across Europe, North America and Asia. The Sestao plant forms part of the company’s strategy to strengthen its industrial footprint in the Basque Country and expand its capabilities in high-value manufacturing processes.
The facility was developed on a 10,200 m² industrial plot, with a built surface of approximately 6,500 m², accommodating production areas, technical workshops, offices and logistics spaces required for the operation of a modern aerospace manufacturing plant.
The building was designed to combine industrial efficiency, flexible production layouts and high technical performance, ensuring the integration of specialised equipment, strict environmental and safety requirements, and the logistical flows typical of advanced aerospace manufacturing.
Beyond the building itself, the project represents an important step in the industrial regeneration of the Left Bank of Bizkaia, reinforcing the region’s role as a strategic hub for advanced manufacturing and aerospace technology.
